Brad Farrell – Chairman

  • 45 years’ experience in resources industry as exploration geologist and developer. Founder of Basin Minerals Ltd
  • Involvement in several significant mineral sands discoveries and developments

Brad Pettersson – Director

  • More than 25 years’ experience specialising in tax law and commercial transactions
  • Career commenced with Arthur Andersen within their corporate and international tax practice
  • Advisor to mining industry in financial strategy and mergers and acquisitions

Paul Schaffer – Director

  • Formerly held senior roles in investment banking with J P Morgan’s EMEA Metals and Mining team and Deutsche Bank’s mergers and acquisitions team
  • Breadth of experience advising in mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity transactions with clients including BHP and Rio Tinto

Rob Sennit – Director

  • Previously Managing Director of Mineral Deposits Limited which owned a 50 percent interest in the TiZir joint venture including the GCO mineral sands mine
  • 25 years’ experience in the investment banking industry focused on providing finance and advisory services to international mining companies

JOZSEF PATARICA

Chief Executive Officer

Jozsef Patarica has three decades of experience in the mining industry. He has held executive operational and project development positions, as well as general management, project feasibility, construction, development and operations roles globally.

Jozsef was CEO of the Grande Cote Operations mineral sands mine in Senegal, West Africa, and managed construction of the Fosterville gold mine in Victoria, Australia.

JOHN FRANCISCO

Project Director

John Francisco has three decades of broad experience in mining projects including design phase, procurement, construction and commissioning - in mineral sands and other commodities.

Working for four years in Senegal at the Grande Cote Operations, John made a significant impact leading a core technical team to manage procurement, fabrication, logistics and construction activities.

CAMERON KNOX

Chief Financial Officer

Cameron Knox has 20 years’ experience in finance and accounting, predominantly in the mining and resources sector.

Prior to joining Kalbar Operations, Cameron was responsible for financial strategy, treasury, reporting, budgeting, governance and audit. He also focussed on managing concentrate sales contracts, off-take negotiations, commodity hedging strategy and debt.
